Your vet gives you an itemized written estimate — every clinic provides one. You photograph it and upload it. The loan is anchored to that document, so the money can only do one thing: care.
Identity, employment and income are verified with your consent, by connecting your own accounts — about two minutes. Your employer is never contacted. A soft credit check never touches your score.
The system weighs the estimate against what you can comfortably pay now. The gap between the two is your loan — never more than the bill, never more than your budget can carry.
Every disclosure — federal and California — is presented in full before you sign. One summary table holds every dollar you will ever owe. Nothing after your signature can surprise you.
A virtual card is delivered to your mobile in minutes — locked to your clinic, loaded with the exact approved amount, valid for 48 hours. It cannot be spent anywhere else, on anything else.
The clinic charges the card like any debit card and is paid in full, the same day. That first charge is what makes the loan live — if treatment never happens, the card simply expires and you owe nothing.

What participation asks of you
- Give the written estimate — exactly what you already do. The itemized estimate is the document PETWELLSOON funds against.
- Point to VIGA when a client hesitates over cost: "There's a nonprofit that pays us directly, at zero interest and zero fees — apply from your phone, right here."
- Display the mark — the VIGA Accepted Here decal in your window and badge on your site, so families find you before the emergency.
- Invite your own staff to sign up — your team members are working people too; VIGA is theirs to use as borrowers, and they make the best ambassadors at the front desk.
For donors
Your dollar is never spent. It is only lent — again and again.
A donation to most charities is used once. A donation to PETWELLSOON is lent at zero interest, repaid, and lent again — the same dollars, holding up family after family, pet after pet.
What your donation does
- $250 funds an urgent exam and medication — then comes back and does it again, cycle after cycle.
- $1,200 covers an average emergency — surgery, diagnostics, a life turned around in an afternoon — and returns whole to fund the next one.
- $2,500 is a full life-saving intervention: the bill that breaks families, paid quietly, repaid quietly, and ready again.

A Living Fund is a named pool of capital inside PETWELLSOON. Your contribution is never spent — only lent. It goes out as zero-interest, zero-fee loans to families in veterinary waiting rooms, returns as they repay on their paydays, and goes out again, recycling every four to eight months. The same dollars, lent over and over, in your name, for as long as the name endures.

- Fundraisers, storytellers, social media voices — run campaigns, share recoveries (with consent), bring the founder to speak at your event.
